Newsletter Pro Helvetia New Delhi  05.02.2012

The call for applications by Pro Helvetia New Delhi, for the Artist-in-Residence programme in Switzerland, for the year 2010 - 2011 was met with an overwhelming response. Expressions of interest were received from artists from across India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Nepal. The endeavour of these artists to engage with new audiences and to take their art form to new levels is commendable.

We thank all those who have applied for the residency. If you are keen to avail this opportunity and were unable to meet this year's deadline - do apply during the next application process applicable for 2011 - 2012. The global deadline each year is 31 January.

Pro Helvetia New Delhi remains committed to initiating, supporting and presenting projects that reflect the multicultural character of Switzerland and the South Asian region. It supports artists seeking dialogue with other cultures in an effort to forge closer ties.

We at Pro Helvetia look forward to supporting your artistic and cultural endeavours.
