Newsletter Pro Helvetia New Delhi  05.02.2012

When people of different origins meet, culture soon follows. When they continue along the same path together, the path itself begins to change.

Pro Helvetia New Delhi supports artists seeking dialogue with other cultures. The focus is on mutuality and respect to ensure that both sides benefit equally from the exchange. The projects presented in this Newsletter are encounters where artists from both India and Switzerland have travelled not just to experience each other's cultures, but to absorb, experiment and grow within them.

This issue also contains information on "Moving Words," a Pro Helvetia programme that brings the work of translators into the spotlight. It aims to raise awareness of the art of translation and increase appreciation of this creative and culture-defining activity.
